When I first started working with Raewyn I wasn’t in a good place. On a scale of 0 – 10, with 0 being the lowest mood, I’d honestly say I was around a 2 at the most. However, within 4 weeks of working with Raewyn, my mood and outlook on life and my future had considerably improved and I’d say I was at now at a 9!

On Raewyn’s suggestion, I’ve changed my already pretty healthy diet, to include more magnesium, zinc and protein…something I really believe has made a huge difference to my mental health. I’ve also written my own personal mantra, something I repeat to myself multiple times throughout the day – making me feel so much more positive about myself, my abilities and my future.

I’ve set myself some life goals and I KNOW I am going to achieve them. I feel so much more confident and happy with who I am and knowing the direction I want to go in. I was constantly questioning what my purpose was, questioning my abilities both at work and at home. To be honest, I was the lowest I have ever been… and had, on several occasions, thought about how I could end my life. The only thing that ever stopped me was the thought of leaving my two beautiful children behind and what damage it would do to them.

I had seen a therapist for a period of around 6 months about 18 months before I met Raewyn. During that period, my therapist had really helped me to get to the root of my issues… however, I now needed to put things in place which looked to the future and not at the past… I didn’t want or need someone to go over old ground again… what I needed was someone to help me look forward and not backwards… and Raewyn has been that person.

My sister-in-law introduced me to Raewyn after working with her on an online seminar. She was full of praise for Raewyn and was convinced she could help me get out of the dark pit of depression I had fallen into.

Two weeks into our journey together, Raewyn encouraged me to write my own personal mantra, something to repeat to myself every morning and every evening before bed. I really believe this has been a huge part of my change in mood… I now find myself repeating this throughout the day without even thinking about it! I have a copy of my mantra on my fridge door, on my office wall and in my purse… so it’s always with me wherever I go and whenever I need it!

I look forward to my sessions with Raewyn and always come away with something positive and inspirational to implement into my day to day life. I’d say the most valuable benefit of working with Raewyn is knowing you have someone who can keep you on track, someone to be accountable to.

It’s all too easy to fall into the trap of ‘I feel much better so now I don’t need to do all those things which helped me’. Working with Raewyn, I now fully understand that to continue to feel happier, healthier and forward facing, you must form lifelong habits such as repeating your personal mantra, setting life goals and ensuring you eat the right foods to support your body functionality.

The most noticeable results were after 4 weeks, but to be honest I began to feel the benefit of Raewyn’s support and advice almost immediately! I would recommend Well Works to anyone who is struggling with mental health issues and who is looking for alternative methods to improving their mental health other than anti-depressants. To someone on the fence about Well Works, I would say that it really is worth the investment both financially and time. Don’t even hesitate and do it now!

I always found Raewyn to be so supportive and friendly – she has a very warm personality that makes you feel relaxed and at ease. My husband is so happy to see me happy and smiling again! I’ve become even more aware of myself and what I need to continue to do to keep me where I want to be.

My mood has changed considerably, I now feel able to laugh and smile again and enjoy this amazing life we are lucky to be living. I can see the joy in everything again… something I wasn’t ever sure I’d be able to do.

WW have a holistic approach to mental health. They look at you as a whole and take everything into account, your physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health. Working with WW is so different to the type of therapy I have had previously – I really do value the knowledge they have and how they use this to work with their clients. It has made a dramatic positive difference to not only me, but to my family.

I think people suffering with mental health issues think that having a counsellor will solve all their problems. Don’t get me wrong, at the time my counsellor got me out of a pit I wasn’t sure I could get out of, but they didn’t equip me with the tools I needed to keep me from falling back down.

Working with Raewyn has changed my outlook completely and I feel strong about the future and confident that, if and when I begin to spiral downwards, I now have the tools to turn it around.
