As an entrepreneur, I have the freedom to set my own schedule. Aside from helping people, this freedom to create a life by design was a priority, after decades of working for other people! I’ve created freedom in my life by focusing on health as the first wealth. Now I’m guiding high-performing women like you from burnout and overwhelm to Mental Clarity and Energy so you can create the personal AND professional impact you were born to.
Why?
According to the Center for Economic and Business Research, 92% of small business owners have experienced mental health problems over the past two years. Anxiety, Burnout, Depression, Fatigue and Stress occur when we put everything and everyone before your own physical and emotional needs. However, your body is your NUMBER ONE income-producing asset!
I lived myself into exhaustion in my corporate career, so I know how easily it can happen when you’re working 60 hour weeks or more to get ahead. Simultaneously, your stress hormones are depleting your sex and Thyroid hormones, immune system, digestion, detoxification, nervous system and energy production.
When you prioritize your career, your partner, or your children over your body, you may feel like you’re getting ahead in the short-term, but you’re creating long-term damage that will catch up with you in one form of dysfunction or illness.
If you want to see long-term success, you have to start recognizing your health as an INVESTMENT with compounding returns, and make it a priority!
The one thing that I’ve seen successful people do is to have a clear routine and structure, so they can stay on track to “GET STUFF DONE” (GSD, according to my husband) and stay on mission.
For me, if it’s not scheduled it doesn’t happen! Can you relate? So I thought, why not share what my schedule looks like?
Monday: CEO day (content creation, business growth & strategy), Spinning, dinner at 5pm before sunset – as it’s better for digestion and recovery!
Tuesday & Wednesday: Clients and Group Coaching then afternoon walk, dinner, breathwork and reading.
Thursday: Podcast recordings / Interviews / Summits – because creating impact, community, collaborating and amplifying the voice of others doing amazing things in the world is very important to me – then Pilates with my trainer, and Bible Study with my girlfriends.
Friday: Continuing education morning sitting in on Seminars and Lectures, Writing blog / newsletter, Self-care afternoon & Date night with Hubby
Saturday: Outdoors Hiking / Beach / Motorcycle
Sunday: Church & Family & Outdoors
Throughout the day, I create about 15 – 20 minutes for getting outside, cooking, breathing, and stretching so that my body is able to keep up with the energy needed to serve my clients, bring in new business and elevate the message of empowered health. It’s productive, purposeful and aligned with my values, which is what I teach my clients – to find what works best for them, and to tap into their why! So often people are doing things that they’re not bought into, and saying yes to things they don’t want to!
The way to stay full of energy to serve is to have very clear boundaries, and to care for your body!
What does your current schedule look like?
And what would your ideal schedule look like?
Marry those two up and then look at how much time you’ve allocated to nourishing your mind, body and spirit.
This will show you where to direct your efforts!
If this feels like it’s too much to figure out on your own, that’s what I’m here for. I’m even opening up a few spots for a 2 Day Reset Experience here at my home in the mountains of Southern California!
