“I eat healthy, I exercise, so why do I feel so crappy?”
Then read on for my 10 Steps to Reset Your Nervous System ☀️.
When it comes to living a healthy life, some things are obvious:
✅ drink enough water
✅ get enough sleep
✅ avoid sugar (notice, I didn’t say fat!)
But some things aren’t so obvious!
Even as a health-conscious person, there might be some “not-so-obvious” stressors wreaking havoc behind the scenes!
Things like:
👉 Environmental factors such as Mold in your workplace – the number one cause of sick building syndrome – or in your home.
👉 Food sensitivities
👉 Poor Digestion
👉 Poor Detoxification – are you peeing, pooping and perspiring daily?
👉 Too much exercise – yes, there is such a thing!
All of these things cause stress to the body in their own way. And chronic stress leads to chronic health conditions 🙅♀️.
Mold illness being the underlying driver of Metabolic Chaos is something I’m seeing more frequently for clients presenting with gut issues and even hormonal imbalances, like hypothyroidism or endometriosis. If you’ve ever had any water damage to your home, mold can start growing within 1 hour, and exposure to it can lead to:
🛑 allergies
🛑 asthma
🛑 endometriosis
🛑 fatigue
🛑 food sensitivities
🛑 frequent colds and flus
🛑 headaches
🛑 hormonal imbalances like hypothyroidism
🛑 skin rashes
🛑 thyroid issues
🛑 yeast infections to name just a few…
Being in a moldy environment or being unable to detoxify effectively from mold after exposure to a moldy environment can really wear down your immune system. The solution?
✅ Step 1. Remove yourself from the moldy environment. That means you’ll have to test your home or workplace for mold.
✅ Step 2. Test yourself for mold. Now you can subjectively determine if you any of the symptoms listed above OR you can definitively confirm with an Organic Acids Test, which is what I use for my clients.
✅ Step 3. Begin a pathogen removal protocol. However, before embarking on a mold / fungal removal protocol, I always begin by making sure drainage and detoxification pathways are open, AND I always check for any other infections like parasites or bacterial overgrowth using a Gut Health test, and work on removing those FIRST.
✅ Step 4. Follow the rest of the 5R Protocol so that you:
Remove trigger foods – which we determine from a Food Sensitivity test
Replace with healthier choices
Restore with targeted and specific probiotics and or proteolytic enzymes
Repair with mucosal barrier support
Rebalance your lifestyle and ask the big questions like – am I really doing what I love, am I really who I want to be with?
This way of doing things, under the guidance of a health coach, really ensures you’re less likely to experience harsh Herxheimer or die-off reactions.
If you’re struggling with allergies, reflux, energy, gut health, hormones, mood, weight or skin, despite living what appears on the surface to be a healthy life, my best advice is to DIG deeper with functional lab work to find out what’s going on at the cellular level.
